Rob's road to business ran through professional basketball. From Michigan, he earned second-team junior college All-America honors and then played for the Iowa Hawkeyes. He went on to play professionally in the CBA and the NBA's developmental league, and his game took him around the world, to Lithuania, Korea, where he scored 63 points in a game, Tel Aviv and more. He also played with the Harlem Globetrotters.
